THS4222: Output's Rising time and delay time question during high temp condition

Hi Paul,

this cannot be answered without seeing the schematic and without knowing what load is connected to the output.

I guess the chip becomes overheated at 65°C ambient temperature because of a too heavy load at the output. Then, changing from the DGK to the DGN or DGQ package providing a power pad for enhanced cooling would be a remedy. See the table "package dissipation ratings" in the datasheet.

Hey Paul, those waveforms look like the part has stopped operating at elevated temps. Maybe try the OPA2830 - I think it is very similar in the same package.

Attached file is the portion circuit. The J12 is the SMB connector.  
Customer uses an SMB cable to connect one end to J12 and the other end to Paragon-X test equipment for test.

Are you still observing the output rise time & delay time extensions during high temperature?  I can assist with recommending a different package type or high-speed op-amp.   I did notice the use of the LMH6643 IC on the schematic you sent over; is this an existing designed-in device, or does it act as a placeholder for the THS4222 consideration?
