LMH32404: LMH32404

Part Number: LMH32404

HI,

For the LMH32404 is it possible to connect VCC to zero volt and GND to -3.3V.

This is in order to amplify input currents that are sourced  (not sinked) from the photodetector

Thanks,

  • Hi Yuval,

The LMH3204 can be used to amplify sourced input currents from the photodetector with VCC set to 3.3V and GND to 0V.

Three things to note when sourcing an input current:

    1. The VOD pin must be set to 0V
    2. The soft clamp is the active clamp, not the fast recovery clamp
    3. The ambient light cancellation mode only works for sinking input current applications

Please refer to Section 7 of the data sheet for more details on this or let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,

    Nick
