Tool/software:
Hi, datasheet bring to use nominal value of 50GΩ 2.4pF.
How is controlled this 2.4pF? It's a trimmed capacitance to match this number always? What's the tolerance of this parameter? Changes against temperature?
This value is highly relevant to my design.
Thank you!
Hello Fabio,
This spec is not trimmed, and it is based on the internal JFET-input structure of the amplifier. The tolerance we say for our specs due to production/process is within 20%, however this spec is not tested at production. I can ask our designed their thoughts since this is a relatively new device we released. I will get back to you by end of the week.
Thank you,
Sima
Hi Sima,
Ok, please provide as much information you can to me.
I'm using this input capacitance to do a voltage divider in high frequency with external capacitors, so a high tolerance will not be accepted for my circuit, because it will give me completely different attenuation.
Please mention this also with your design, what's the approach when you will use the BUF802 in the front end with attenuation circuit.
Because I'm using 0.6pF external to do a 5:1 attenuation with the 2.4pF.
Thank you.
