Hello TI,
Could you please provide information regarding output impedance/Resistance of OPA197-Q1.
Best Regards,
Manoj.
Hello Clemens,
Could you please elaborate how did you arrive this value ?
Best Regards,
Manoj.
Hi Manoj,
Please see the curve below for the output impedance of the OPA197-Q1

Hello Chris,
I am operating the device with DC input voltage with Vcc connected to 15V and the load current is 10mA. Could you please explain whats the output resistance that i have to consider to calculate voltage drop due to output resistance of OPA197-Q1 ?
Best Regards,
Manoj.
The voltage drop becomes noticeable only when you try to drive an output voltage near the rails. As shown in figure 6-18, when sinking 10 mA, the output can go only about 0.4 V near V−.
Yes, my output voltage can go upto 10.5V sourcing 10mA current. I want to calculate voltage drop caused by the output resistance in this condition.
The opamp's internal resistance is part of the feedback loop, so it is regulated away. There is a voltage drop of exactly 4.5 V between the supply and the output. The offset between the desired and the actual output voltage is at most 250 µV.
