VCA5807: Single ended input differential output LNA.

Part Number: VCA5807

Tool/software:

Hi,

I am going to choose VCA5807 8 channel amplifier for my project. The LNA is a single ended input and differential output amplifier. It has a configurable gain: 12, 18 or 24dB. I will formulate the question about this LNA with an example:

Let´s suppose LNA gain is 1, and there is a sine wave 1Vp 1KHz signal in the single ended input.

  • The signals in OUT+ and OUT- of the LNA will be same amplitud signals than input? If so, the differential output (OUT+) - (OUT-) would be double amplitud signal than input.
  • Or maybe, the signals in OUT+ and OUT- of the LNA are middle amplitud signals, and the differential output (OUT+) - (OUT-) would be same amplitud signal as input signal.

Could you please help to understand which of the conclusion is correct?

Thank you in advance.
