Tool/software:
I really like the INA4230/5 and wish to use it in future designs. It seems like a more capable successor to the INA3221 in every respect.
However I have one issue with it. The 16-DSBGA (0.71x1.47) requires 0.15mm/6mil capped via in BGA pad for the center pins.
This represents a board technology increase for my designs and would be the defining component for via size.
I am wondering if you have plans to offer this IC in a vqfn-16 or similar package for use in boards with lower tolerances / lower spec manufacturing processes.
Hi Marshall,
Thank you for your interest in our TI devices. Yes we are planning to offer the IC in QFN-16 packages, I don't have a timeline for you at the moment but please checkback with us in a few months.
Best,
Mallika Senthil
