Tool/software:
Hello,
I need to simulate INA180A1,2,3 and 4 in PSpice, but this simulation model currently missing in updated library. For it I downloaded it directly from TI webpage and imported it to PSpice followed by link: https://www.ti.com/video/6162754989001
But it still not working.
PSspice still displaye the same one message:
I do not know how I fix it.
Best Regards
Ivan Mahdík
Hello Valued Engineer,
I am looking at this and will respond promptly.
Sincerely,
Peter
Hey Ivan,
Can you make sure to perform the following in Pspice for TI software. They show INA283 as an example, but it is same for any device.
Import the .olb and .lib files into your project directory. Copy and past them into the general project root folder and then add the .olb into the Design Resources/Library and the .lib into the PSpice Resources/Model Libraries.
Sometimes you cannot right-click the "Model Libraries" to add the .lib. To get around this, click the "Edit Simulation Profile" and navigate to the following window and add the .lib file to the Design Configuration files.
Sincerely,
Peter
Dear Peter,
thank you very much for you answer. I followed your steps but unfortunately the problem persists.

Ivan
Hey Ivan,
Your screenshot still does not show that INA180A1.lib has been associated to the "Model Libraries" Folder as shown here:
Sometimes you cannot right-click the "Model Libraries" to add the .lib. To get around this, click the "Edit Simulation Profile" and navigate to the following window and add the .lib file to the Design Configuration files.
Sincerely,
Peter
Ah yes, I see. I didn't click on add to design, but only on ok. So, in this time it does not work, for it I deleted the part from design and restarted of PSpice, but now I do not know to find the part in library :-(
Hey Ivan,
Can you download the INA180A1 model here and put the .lib in your project directory and then associate the .lib to design as shown in steps above?
Best,
Peter
Hey Ivan,
I downloaded the INA180A3 pspice model online and then copied the .lib and .olb files into a new pspice project directory.
Then I associated these files to project. Associate the .olb by right clicking "Library", and then "Add file". Browse to INA180Ax.olb. To associate the .lib, you need to click the "Edit Simulation Profile" icon and then perform the steps shown below.
This is what is should look like at end.
Place the INA180x by going to "Place Part" or by clicking "P".
Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Peter
