OPA596: OPA596 Availability & Models

A month ago I asked when the OPA596 spice model would be available & when the part would be available for purchase.

I used the TI-TINA model, but the part is still not available for purchase. I cannot proceed with my design until the OPA596 can be bought.

When will the OPA596 be available for purchase?

Hi Joe,

The OPA596 is on preview status. Preproduction (prototype) evaluation samples are available on www.ti.com. The device release to manufacturing is tentatively scheduled by the end of this quarter. Please see link below.

I am not sure where you see samples available, but online states OUT OF STOCK. Did you not check before replying?

Can you ask the product engineer whether they have a few? I have the op amp eval board I can use to check my design function.
