I love the 4235 - super accurate and low noise. I am able to monitor 12 channels of power (distant from the 4235) using 3 devices. BUT..., it is offered in a fine pitch BGA only package. This then requires higher end more costly PCB manufacturing just to accommodate the 4 inner most pins (via on pad with smallest drill hole size). To deal with this, I made a small interface PCB with these finer pitch details that then integrates onto my main PCB. This seems to work great.
Instead of doing this, I was told TI plans to eventually make available a different package - perhaps a QFN or something.
Any idea when this might happen?
