Tool/software:
Hello, We have designed a 3mm microphone capsule and need to bring the self noise down another 10fb, preferably to around -120db. This Jfet looks potentially viable, however I cannot find any output noise data. Can you please advise what is the self noise of the TLV9061? If you have another product that is better suited, please advise.
Cheers
Romain
Hello Romain, welcome to the TI e2e forums.
TLV9061 is not a JFET. Typical noise is here in data sheet.
TLV6741 or LMP7731 would be lower noise.
Hi Ron,
Thank you Ron, things I am learning. That said, looking at the data sheet, I'm confused with the values required. There are three noise values and four for open loop gain. Could you please provide an example using these fir a final output nouse value?? Not sure where the F value is. Sorry for being a noob.
Cheers
Looking here: https://www.ti.com/product/TLV6741#design-tools-simulation
Picking this one https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/sbomav2
It show this on TI tina.
Hello Again..Looks like I hate made a bit of an error add failed to notice your point about the TLV9061 NOT being a jfet.
With that said, what can you recommend that is a jfet, ultra low output noise with decent gain suitable for a 3mm diameter high spl mic capsule?
Cheers
Romain,
The data sheet for that capsule should have a recommended circuit to use.
