Tool/software:
HI Sir
We design a precision temp meter, original design is use the TLC271, but the offset too big, so we choose the TLC271B in our design
but I found the TLC271B temp drift is large than TLC271
Could you suggestion a solution, which have less offset as TLC271B, and less temp drift as TLC271
Thanks
The specified drift of both the TLC271 and the TLC271B is the same, 1.8 µV/°C.
TLV9101: offset 1.5 mV, drift 0.6 µV/°C, GBW 1.1 MHz
TLV9151: offset 0.75 mV, drift 0.3 µV/°C, GBW 4.5 MHz
If you need an 8-pin package:
TLV9141: offset 1 mV, drift 0.7 µV/°C, GBW 0.1 MHz
OPA170: offset 1.8 mV, drift 0.3 µV/°C, GBW 1.2 MHz
OPA171: offset 1.8 mV, drift 0.3 µV/°C, GBW 3 MHz
Chen,
I agree with Clemens. Thanks as usual to Clemens for his support of E2E. To add to his comment:
The amplifiers he suggested are all excellent choices and in a similar category and price range to the TLC271. If you would like to substantially minimize your offset and offset drift you could choose a zero-drift amplifier. Some of these options can be fairly low in cost and the overall offset and offset drift will be hundreds of times better than the devices listed. The OPA186 for example is $0.4 in 1k quantity, and a dual OPA2186 is $0.42.
best regards, Art
