Tool/software:
Hi,
I wondered if you have a typical (transient) startup time for the AMC3301-Q1 from application of the VDD input (3.3Vdc) to get to a stable output signal from the device?
Also, looking at the data sheet for the AMC3301-Q1, am I correct in thinking that the maximum VDD current draw is 42mA and a typical current draw should be around 28mA on the VDD pin if using a 3.3Vdc supply?
Kind regards
Michael
Hi Michael,
It should typically be 1.6us.
Yes, your understanding is correct. The current drawn will vary based on whether auxiliary circuitry is connected or not.
Best regards,
Eva
Hi Eva,
The timing diagram looks like it is showing the transient time for the conversion from input (across the shunt) to the isolated output. I want to know what the time will be (from input to output) when power is applied to the device (so I am guessing a further delay of the isolated DC/DC SMPS starting up before the amplifier can produce an output proportional to the shunt current?
Do you have any idea of this time?
Kind regards
Michael
