There is a difference between the new and old materials.

Part Number: OP07CP

Tool/software:

HI SIR

Our company encountered issues with the OP07CP starting from DC2446. When reverting to the older date code (DC2306), the circuit functions normally.

We are using the OP07CP in an instrumentation amplifier circuit.

Adding a 100pF capacitor from the output to ground can improve performance.

Can the OP07CP output directly drive 330pF? Or 100pF? What is the maximum capacitance it can drive directly?

Please help confirm the output impedance specifications for both the new and old date codes.

Is there any difference in bandwidth between the new and old date codes?

Mass production has encountered an issue. Please respond as soon as possible.

  • Hi Ken,

Could you share the IA's schematic with us? If you prefer to present it privately, please post "friendship" request over E2E and we can communicate in an E2E private messaging system.

Adding a 100pF capacitor from the output to ground can improve performance.

This implies that the circuit may have high frequency components that resulting in noise output. Generally, op amp can not drive large capacitive load, say >100pF. The op amp will reduced its phase margin when driving large capacitor. You have to place a resistor in front of 330pF and configure a LPF.

Is there any difference in bandwidth between the new and old date codes?

Yes, there is a slight BW difference between pre and post-PCN product. If I can review the schematic, I can compensate the op amp differently to resolve possible issues.

    Best,

    Raymond

  • 請告訴我此 PCN 更改是從哪個日期開始實施的。

  • Hi Ken,

    請告訴我此 PCN 更改是從哪個日期開始實施的。

The PCN issued in OP07C series are after 10/31/2023. So any manufacture good after the released date, say 1 month (minimum requirement by JEDEC's standard) to 3 months (it depends) after the date, the new changes will take place in production, if there are no objections.
