Hi,
I have PGA309EVM RS232, not USB and I can't run the software.
After Installing and running it I got a message in BOLD RED "It is important to periodically check if you are using the latest version of the PGA309EVM software!". After pressing 'OK' button the program crashes with a message "Run-time error '9': Subscript out of range". My OS is WinXp SP3.
In the software installation zip file, there is a ReadMe.txt file where is written :
" Refer to Texas Instruments’ Website for latest revision of: PGA309EVM User's Guide and PGA309DK Software http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/pga309dk.html " , but such page doesn't exists, of course.
I spend a lot of time searching in the TI web site and in the whole net, but ... nothing.
I'm wondering, Is it so hard for the TI staff to keep the track of the 'old' software, tools, doc's, etc.?!?
I put a question to the support staff about this, but 24 hours after I received two e-mails with common words inside - " Thank you for bla, bla... we proceed ... bla, bla"
I'm very angry - How could this happens in 2012 in a large and reputable company like TI?!?
Best Regards,
Tenko
