PGA309 Good For Correcting Error & Nonlinearity in Systems?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PGA309

I recognize that the PGA309 is an outstanding tool for use in correcting error and nonlinearity in a bridge sensor.

My question is, is the PGA309 intended to correct for errors and nonlinearity in the actual system that the sensor is measuring?  Can it be used this way?
