Our customer created the evaluation board.
However, it did not work.
Is the necessity of EEPROM program?

Hello PAN-M,

Can you please describe the problem the customer is having with the PGA309EVM? Do they see no voltage or current output, output with high error, no digital communication, or some other problem?

It is necessary to program the EEPROM, because the device constantly updates its registers with the data from the EEPROM. If you leave the EEPROM blank, the PGA309 will overwrite its registers with old data and calibration will fail.
