LMH6639 overdrive recovery time

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMH6639, LMH6642

Hello,

According to the data sheet of LMH6639 it has "Excellent Overdrive Recovery". I didn't find any information in the data sheet about recovery time from overdrive.

Can you help me with this information?

Thank you.

Alex Mestezky.

  • Hello Alex,

I agree with you that would be good to have some plots to show the overload recovery. The LMH6639 is based on the LMH6642 with some minor changes (shutdown was added, output current improved, slew rate improved, etc.).

So, you can see the overload recovery waveform in the LMH6642, copied below, as being representative of the behavior of the LMH6639 as well.

LMH6642 Overload Recovery (LMH6639 behavior is similar):

I have now noted this shortcoming in the LMH6639 and I will make sure that this information is added on the next revision of the datasheet.

    Regards,

    Hooman
