TLV341: Pop or click noise at the SHDN signal transition

Hi team,

My customer is considering to use TLV341 as microphone amplifier, and asking me about pop or clicking noise at the transition of SHDN signal. Is any functionality of these noise prevention implemented in this device?

Nobuhiko-san,

Powering up in shutdown mode should be pop free.
Going into shutdown while powered should be fine as output goes high impedance.
Exiting shutdown while powered might pop because output comes alive quickly (5us).

The design can affect popping. Try to design such that upon exit shutdown, the amplifier doesn't have to make a correction in output voltage.

Thank you.
You mean that pulling-up amplifier's output node to voltage level in high impedance could eliminate the pop-noise, right?
