I am simulating this part in LTSpice and am not understanding what I am seeing. There are two issues actually. When I hook the device around the current sense resistor, I get long current tails (approx. 0.6mA) which were not there prior to hooking this device up. (see attached). Secondly, the output hits the rails when based on calculation it should not. In fact, I can change the load value and the output of this device doesn't change a bit. Unless I am doing the computation wrong, Vout2 varies between 2V and 3V and the current through the sense resistor varies between 1ma and 0.7ma. With a 0.2 ohm sense resistor, and the 100x gain for the device, I would expect output to vary between 20mV and 14mV. Probably need to use the INA212 to provide more gain. CalKant.zip
