Hi Team,

I have project need to monitor bus current application no-load detect and OCP alarm but I have no Idea to design INA199.

if our current MAX 2A. OCP point 2.5A.

How do I choose Rshunt and Gain?

Hi Cao Cao,

Thanks for using TI E2E forums. Do you need an alarm signal for OCP? Is that is the case the INA199 is not the right device selecting. You will need to use a current shunt monitor with integrated comparator such as INA300 or INA301.

There are different application and device parameters that you need to consider in order to choose Rshunt and Gain.
