OPA656: TINA and Pspice both model seems not accurate

Hi Andrew,

These are the circuits I usually use for Zo and Aol on TINA, and they look like the datasheet. What was the strange transient waveform you encountered? Maybe we can check another specification.

Customer showed me the difference of transient waveform from TINA and Pspice model as below.

They looks different to me. Just wondering, which one I should suggest customer to use for their circuit simulation?

Thanks, I monitor this for a few days, the model "late edit date" remains in 2016 Dec.
Are you sure it has been uploaded? Can you send me the model instead if official upload taking long time.

The December 2016 model is an updated version vs. the model in the default TINA-TI library.

Sorry for confuse, I was using  December 2016 models from the beginning, that is the model I felt not accurate enough, the AOL roll off is not very matching datasheet if we look closely, comparing to other precision TINA model, this one is not perfect match.

Hi Andrew,

The December 2016 model produces the VF1 waveform above, which looks accurate for this amplifier. Is there a different transient response you think is inaccurate? The December 2016 model Aol roll off does indeed match the datasheet.

Hi Sean,

From datasheet AOL graph, I saw the AOL cross 0dB gain is around 300MHz. From TINA simulation, it's around 210MHz. I am not sure if my observation is correct or not.... Thanks for asking.
