OPA4277: the opamp reaches very high temperatures

I'm using the operational opa2477. I am using it within a circuit to adjust the gain of a signal. The amplifier gets very hot, so I remove all the components that connect it with the other parts of the circuit. In conclusion the amplifier is only connected to the + -12V supply, and its respective decoupling capacitors, but the amplifier still reaches temperatures of 60 ° C and above. Is this temperature normal for the amplifier? I have changed the amplifier twice, and the result remains the same.
the funny thing is that the amplifier works, and fulfills its task, but I do not know if I let the circuit work with this temperature, in a short time, the circuit no longer works.

  • I have had an error and the operational one is not the opa4277, it is the opa4227. The opa4227 has a Quiescent Current very high, but even so it is normal to reach high temperatures? or is a heatsink necessary?

    I attach the schematic. the amplifier that is heated is the U6. When the circuit works, the amplifier reaches close to 80 ° c. I have removed the connections of this amplifier, to know how much it heats without load. I removed R26, R25, R54, R55, R56, R59, R33, R34, R35, R60, R47, R50, R49, R51, R48, C63, C64. Without these resistances, the amplifier reaches 65 ° C (only power). I have removed the amplifier from the board, and I have connected it directly to a power source, but it continues at 65 ° C. The current consumption of the opa4227, with only the power supply connected is 15 mA, close to the quiescent Current value of the datasheet.
