TLV9062: output current

Guru 29720 points
Part Number: TLV9062

Hi Team,
My customer considers to use TVL9062.

1)
The datasheet shows th following about Isc.
Could you tell me Isc value under Vs=3.5V?

2)
Figure 10 shows "Output Voltage Swing vs Output Current" under Vs=±2.75V.
Is there same figure under Vs=±1.75V?

Best Regards,
Yaita / Japan disty

  • Hi Yaita-san,

I will go test the short circuit current in the lab and give you a typical value for the supply voltage you are asking about. This value is only a typical value, so expect to vary a little with process, temperature, and device variation. At lower supply voltages, this value will not be greater than the 50mA given in the datasheet. I am not sure whether it will scale with supply voltage, so I'll test it and see.

As far as the claw curves, those shift with supply voltage. The curves would have the same shape but instead of starting at ±2.75V, they'll start at ±1.75V and follow the same lines.

    Sincerely,
    Paul
  • Hi Yaita-san,

Please see the attached data for Isc vs supply voltage. It looks like it doesn't change very much with supply, only a few milliamps from about 3V to 5.5V. Below about 3V, it falls off a little faster. This is just typical data however from one device - we do not guarantee this device performance, but it is still useful for getting a sense of how short circuit current changes with total supply voltage.

    Hope this helps,

  • Hi Paul-san,

I really appreciate for your support!
