OPA333: What should be considered when choosing a package?

Part Number: OPA333

Hello,

what should be considered when we chose a package for a particular component ?
For an example OPA333 has 2 packages DBV and DCK?
What are the factors that i need to consider here?
I would please if anyone can give me some references or reading materials (Articles etc) related to this.

Obviously the difference in size is the first consideration; the DCK is smaller than the DBV. You need to be aware of the thermal characteristics however. Larger parts in general dissipate heat better. See page 6 of the data sheet.

Since this is a low power part you probably won't have any issues unless you are using these in a high ambient temperature.
