  I am building a hi end PWM generator using TLV3502 , using one analog input and a triangle generator at 750Khz

  My question is, how does propagation time impacts the precision of the analog conversion ? Basically should I make sure that propagation time is 4.5ns or 20ns propagation will give the exact same result ? (distortion )

    Propagation can effect the precision of the analog conversion due to changes in overdrive of the PWM'd signal. As your overdrive increases, the propagation delay will also increases. Generally with small overdrives, the propagation delay can vary greatly.

    Looking at the datasheet for the TLV3502, if you were to keep your overdrive above 40mV, the change in dispersion of the propagation delay falls within 1ns, Whereas overdrive less than 20mV can have its dispersion vary between 5-8ns.

    An alternative you can look into to avoid the variation in overdrive is to low pass filter your threshold signal. For example, if you wanted to PWM your triangle wave, you can low pass filter your analog input to get the average of the waveform. The lowpass filter will add additional delay to your circuitry, but the PWM of the triangle wave will be more precise with this method.
