INA226EVM: Software Set up problems

I tried to setup the SBOC409 software for the for the INA226EVM on a computer that us running on Windows 10, 64-Bit operating system. The setup failed, please see the error message below. I was successful in setting up and running the software on another 64-Bit WINDOWS 7 machine. Please could you help me ?

    Shmuel,

    Thank you for using the forum.  I installed the software on my Windows 10 Pro 64Bit machine with no issues.  Could you please try it again and see if you select the run as administrator when selecting the setup.exe file.  If this works please acknowledge as this will help other.  If not let us know so we can try to find out what the issue is.

    Hi,

    I am getting the exact same Runtime Error message. I also tried Run as Administrator, but I am still getting the same error message. I am running on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (version 1903).

    Hello Tero,

    I had a few people here that have Windows 10 attempt to install the same software and they were all successful.  Could you try to redownload and unzip again.  Before you do that make sure you uninstall any left over software from the INA226EVM and reboot before you start.

    Hi,

    I downloaded and unzipped again. Then tried installation after reboot (there is actually nothing to uninstall since the installation does not even start because of the error message). Still the same result. We also tried on another PC (same OS, but different brand HW) but we get the same error message on that one too. I am not sure if you are able to help further since you can not reproduce the issue.

    We can continue testing in embedded environment, but that will have to wait a while since the SW is not yet available for this sensor.
