Hi,

The VSSOP Package information was deleted from the datasheet.

Does it mean that the VSSOP package version is not developed?

    Hello Kuramochi-san,

    The VSSOP package will hopefully be developed in the future.  But, there is currently no development timeline for this.  However, there is a good alternative.

    The DGK/VSSOP package can be second sourced with the SOT-23-8 (DDF) package.  The customer can use a single footprint on their design which will fit both parts.  The footprint would look as shown below.  For more information on this subject, please see this ADJ article by our Tim Claycomb.

    The SOT-23-8 package is already available for the TLV6742.  The customer can use the above footprint and order the SOT.  If/when the VSSOP is released in the future, the customer can purchase that device without needing to redesign the layout.
