OPAMP Selection for DABP design

Hi,

Previously, OPA2111KPG4 opamp was selected for this design. Since OPA2111KPG4 is not available in the TI store so I am in search of the alternative opamp with similar performance and relatively lower price. If possible, kindly guide me on the selection process of the opamp also. I mean what parameters would be critical for this design so I can choose the nearest opamp in terms of performance.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the response. I am looking for an alternative option for the OPA2111KPG4 with a similar pin layout as I have already designed the PCB layout in multiple quantities. Also, I have a doubt regarding your cross-reference, as you search for the different amplifier OPA2111AM-BI. Kindly suggest another amplifier with similar functionality and would be more good if with similar pin layout.

I did the AM-BI because the KPG4 was not an option.

what kind of package is that?

Hi,

It is one of the OPA2111 packages listed in the datasheet OPA2111. The datasheet is attached to this message. You will find the OPA2111KPG4 packaging in the 14 number page.

That is a PDIP package, good luck with that. Might have been 2 or 3 decades since any part was introduced in a 8 pin PDIP.

I think you can use the TL052ACP instead of OPA2111KPG4.

I have checked the performance of TL052ACP in TINA and looks perfect. The pin layout is also similar. I extend my gratitude for helping me in a quick time. Thanks a lot.
