Hello,
I'm looking to design an analog based 3-band active tone control to be used as a pre-amp that will feed into the input of an LM3886 amplifier circuit. I saw the tone control circuit on section 8.1.5 of the OPA4228 datahseet and was wondering if a more detailed app-note or something exists for this circuit.
If not, do you have another recommendation for an active tone control implementation besides the OPA4288? Ideally I'm looking for something similar to the LM1036 IC.
Thanks,
Zach
Hi Zach,
You can find other application notes on TI.com, in as below.
https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/sloa042
I would recommend for you to refer those application notes and you can find some other new generation audio op-amps on TI.com, such as OPA1656.
Unfortunately, there is no compatible devices to LM1036 now, those analog based tone-control solutions were replaced with digital based technology such as audio codec with small DSP, as you can see in other posts on E2E.LM1036 Direct replacement? Any available? - Audio forum - Audio - TI E2E support forums
Thank you and Best regards,
