Hi Team,

I would like to get your suggestion for the customer request below as I am lacking in seeing the slew rate information in other datasheet for the complete requirement of our customer below:

The customer needs a current sense op-amp that will meet the below parameters,

should contain Input Bias Current is 3nA
Input offset current is 0.07nA
Input Offset Voltage is ±15uV(max)
Slew rate is 300V/uS.

The requirement is to sense the 1uA current and need a low Input bias current, low offset current, and low input offset voltage as minimum as.
And higher slew rate.

Please let me know what best suggestion to offer for the customer.

    Hi Jonathan,

    and how is the current to be measured? Low-side, high-side? TIA methode? What is the current range?

    Can you please post a schematic?

    Hello Jonathan,

    Based off the specified parameters specified alone, OPA355/6 or THS4631 seem to be suitable options. Is there a bandwidth requirement? As Kai mentioned a schematic would be helpful.

    Thank you for your support in this thread.

    I just receive the response from the customer today so I am sorry for the delay of my feedback.
    Here's the information I got from the customer after sharing your information:

    The current to be measured is High side only, measuring current is 1uA to 1A.

    Current needs to measure while current is passing through 5V power rail from LDO to IC supply pin.

    Hello Jonathan,

    If customer would like to use a total supply of 20V then THS4631 would be only device to meet all of your requirements.
