Dear Sir,

We are using AFE4300 along with STM32L031. We want to measure weight using AFE4300. For this according to the datasheet one of the terminals of a load cell should be connected to the VLDO pin which will drive the load cell circuit. For getting this voltage as suggested in the datasheet i tried to set the power -on  bit in device_control_register and switch on weight chain. But the board doesn't seem to be responding appropriately. If I write the prescribed value onto the register and read it ,it seems to reflect a value of its own and not the value i have written. Any suggestions or help will be appreciated.

    Hi Muthu,

    Here are few suggestions to help you debug the issue.
    1) Make sure RESETZ is pulled high
    2) Check the supply of AFE.
    3) I an no expert in STM's programming so can't say about its SPI protocol. However you can probe the SPI lines during the write operation and make sure that it matches the AFE4300's datasheet.
