Hi Team,

We would like to know the difference between Thermal resistance of PCM1690-Q1 and PCM1690(Non Q1).

I understand that ΘJA of PCM1690-Q1 is 23℃/W but I can’t find other parameters(RθJC(top),RθJB, ψJT, ψJB, RθJC(bot) ).

Could you please let us know the values of PCM1690-Q1?

Hi Paul-san,

Thank you for the information.

I understand that PCM1690-Q1 and PCM1690(Non Q1) packages are the same so guess that thermal resistances are same.

However, there is a little difference.

We would like to know the reason.

(For example, “Measurement error” etc.)

I’d greatly appreciate your verification.

The thermal coefficients were generated at separate times, so our thermal model may have been updated. In addition, the devices technically have different DIE and maybe have different mold, die-attach, and bonding options, which can effect the coefficients as well. The coefficients are dependent on more than just the package itself.
