Hi team,

If the thermal pad is not connected, will it affect the operation?
Of course, I know that the connection with the PCB will be strengthened.

     The package thermal pad must be soldered to the printed circuit board for thermal and mechanical strength and reliability. This package is designed to be soldered to a thermal pad on the board. For more information, see Texas Instruments literature number SLUA271 (www.ti.com/lit/slua271).

    Without proper thermal connection you probably active  thermal protection that turns the device off when the junction temperature surpasses 150°C much sooner.
