Hi Team,

Need your help to understand gain value control for the TLV320AIC3104-Q1.

We have the connections as below:

IMX8MM-EVK<---------------> TLV320AIC3104-Q1 Codec <-----> TPA3118D2QDAPRQ1 AMP.

Could you please guide us in Following points:

How to set gain for the codec
What should be the initial Gain.
Is it possible to control the gain via application layer. if yes please share any reference doc.

Hi,

Attached is the functional block diagram with the respective registers for this device.

This is I2C protocol so you can configure each register from your host respectively and the default/reset value is in the data sheet register map as well (section 9.6).

You can use the reset value as a start/initial gain setting for some of the block.

In the product folder, there are some application notes that you can refer. It might not be directly from a high application layer but might give you some idea.
