TAS5722L: TAS5722L Shutdown Pin

Part Number: TAS5722L

Hello,

We are using the TAS5722L and have the following questions:

- does this chipset have any power sequencing requirements?

- should SDZ be pulled-up or down? The EVM has it pulled up but we would like the amplifier to be disabled by default

  • Hi Daniel.

    - does this chipset have any power sequencing requirements?

A: Yes, we recommend that when the chip is powered off, first pull down SDZ (you can directly pull down the pin or write a value to the register, you can refer to the screenshot below) and leave enough response time, and then disconnect PVDD and DVDD. And when the chip is powered on, first connect PVDD and DVDD, and after the power supply is stable, pull up SDZ and leave enough response time, and then input the audio signal.

    BR.
