PCM5120-Q1: Dynamic Range Enhancer (DRE) continuous beep

I'm the one asking the question.

The system works well and can play music without distortion before turning on the DRE function.

I look through the manual and found that the PCM5120 seemed to configure DRE registers only on page 1, so I think that only the following changes were necessary:

ADC_WriteByte(0x6B, 0x01);//Reset Value

ADC_WriteByte(0x6C, 0x40);//Reset Value

ADC_WriteByte(0x3C, 0x01);

ADC_WriteByte(0x41, 0x01);

The only change was to change the values of the registers 0x3C and 0x41 from 0x00 to 0x01. Then it won't output correctly.

I have also downloaded PurePath3 and I don't see any significant inconsistency between the output of my PurePath3 software and mine.

But I still think it is caused by my configuration error, but I don't know where the configuration error occurs.

Are you using the EVM or your own board.?A beep seems that your system might be oscillating. With Standard settings given in App note please ground the Mic Input and repower and see if the beep remains.

In fact, using standard settings given in App when I configured the PCM5120 would not have the correct clock output, so I used my own code to configure it, and I didn't know which option in the app I was selecting incorrectly.

I want to input 24.576M MCLK, output 3.072M BCLK and 48K LRCLK, 

Is the configuration in the diagram wrong?

But If I don't use DRE,use the standard settings given in App adding two lines of code

No matter what music I input, the analog data from the output of the PCM5120 with the DRE function turned on after DAC conversion is always a waveform of about 285Hz. A noise that sounds like a buzzer.

Is the Mic AC coupled or DC Coupled?

Did you ground the Mic input? When you did so did theoscillation remain?

After going through the manual several times, I found that the DRE function of the PCM5120 was completely unable to turn on with PLL off under the clock I set.

This hidden restriction only appears in an obscure place, not even in the text section, and I put all my config code and out there, even you don't see....

Fortunately, DRE is now successfully enabled after I turn on PLL. Testing is in progress.
