PGA2505: Alternative for PGA2505IDBR

Part Number: PGA2505
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PGA2500, PGA2311,

Dears,

Would like to check any alternative be suggested for PGA2505IDBR which the lead time is over 588 days.

Thanks.

Vito

  • Hi Vito,

You can check PGA2500, it has similar performance with more resolution on the step size. We also have PGA2311 for volume control.

I'll loop the marketing team to see if they can help with the lead time on those devices.

    Regards,
    Mike

  • Hi Vito,

What region are you ordering for and for which customer? This information will allow us to connect you with the right contact on the sales team to get to the bottom of this. Our systems are reporting shorter lead times than what you were quoted.

    All the best,
    Jacob Fattakhov

  • Thanks for the information, Michael.

    Hi Jacob,

The part, PGA2505 is ordered from Hong Kong through Arrow HK and it is for our customer, Fender for the new project launch on July.

Arrow HK told the supply of this part is ok and was able to supply us in 2023 but the latest schedule we was told is on Jan. 2024.

Could you please help on this case that we need

    2k by June,

    3k by July and

    3.2k by August?

By the way, how is the supply of the suggested 2500?

    You help is appreciated.

    Regards,

    Vito

  • Vito,

I'm going to ask that you contact your local sales team to support this - e2e is meant for technical support, not sales support.  Do you know who the sales contact is for your account/region?

    Regards,
    Mike

  • Hi Michael,

We are working out with Arrow HK for the part delivery issue. We got the lead time from Arrow HK is 8-12 weeks at the very beginning but literally over 53 weeks after order placement.

Anyway, it is appreciated the support I got from here.

  • Hi Vito,

There's not much here we can do to help with that.  If you do want help with the technical design/support of any of the PGAs, please let us know, otherwise Arrow will have to handle any of the lead time issues.

I'm going to close this but let me know if there's any technical support issues that come up.

    Regards,
    Mike
