Unstable TAS5706B

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5706B

Hello,

We are using TAS5706B in 2.0xBTL mode on 4 ohm loads. On our ptototype, we are facing some problems at high level, which was not noticed on EVM board. Supplied with 22V, we reached 13Vrms with the EVM boards, whereas we only reach 8Vrms on our prototype. What happens is that every second the output signal seems to be cut for a few hundreds of ms, then goes back to normal level.

I was wondering if this problem could be due to SCP protection? In the datasheet I understand that we can play with the interchannel delay to avoid false overcurrent detection. If this is the cause of the problem, which delay do I need to change ?

What other root cause do you suggest ?

Thanks for your help.
