TLV320AIC3120EVM-U: EVM No Longer Communicating

Part Number: TLV320AIC3120EVM-U

Hello

I've been working on using a host processor to set the registers how I want them.  I have a very simple setup using a RaspberryPi Zero W as my host.  I'm using the python interpreter and writing some basic settings through I2C.  I have wires with mini grabber clips making the connections from the RaspberryPi to TP1 and TP2 on the EVM, and another connection to TP15 for GND.  I also have an oscilloscope with a built-in protocol analyzer connected to TP1 and TP2 to interpret the data I'm sending.

This was all going fine until it suddenly wasn't.  I'm unable to talk to the board now and I don't know what happened.  Now when I plug into the mini USB cable to the EVM, Windows 10 interprets the device as "Unknown" and tries to install a driver.

When I launch CodecControl, I just get a blank screen:

Both LED's on the EVM are off.  Any clue how this happened?  Is there a way I can bring my EVM back to life?

Thanks.
