Also, at higher frequencies like (19Khz and 20Khz) the amplitude is reduced, is it due to filters within Eval board?

What is the sampling rate used? The maximum signal frequency must be lower then half sampling rate

I looked at the EVM Schematic. The components of a Low pass filter are DNM. Can you check the waveform at the ADC input pin to see if it is the same amplitude as the input itself ?

We are running at default sampling rate of 44.1Khz. But i tried to increase the sampling rate from GUI but it doesn't reflect (data still fetches at 44.1Khz). Please find below screenshot of settings:

I have made refresh after inputting the values.

I would suggest to use the code shown in the datasheet (Page 80 and 81). This is for 44.1Khz sampling rate and sets up the correct processing Blocks that set the optimum decimation filters

We loaded the recording script of "Line in (J9) stereo recording". With that the clock rate is default 11.2896 MHz and ADC sampling rate is 44.1KHz.

When we try to change clock setting for 88.2 KHZ, it's not happening. Could you let us know command to change the sampling rate of ADC to 88.2 kHz.

Also, any update on SNR, THD.

Please try running device in Slave Mode.. The MCLK and BCLK can be 11.296Mhz.

Feed FS as  88.1Khz.

Please load the script for record given in datasheet

Hi Sanjay,

With just the "w 30 14 40" the sampling rate updates on GUI as 88.2 KHz but we are not able to fetch any result when we try to run the acquisition in that sampling rate(88.2Khz).

Not sure if we need to change the USB clock rate or any other parameter as well.

Are you running in Slave mode? Are all commands as per the listing in the datasheet?

Hi, Any update on SNR, THD values observation in this query.

You may have a faulty EVM. I suggest as a test to use the sample code in the Datasheet and try with the below input.

 MCLK = 11.2896 MHz, # BCLK = 2.8224 MHz, WCLK = 44.1 kHz.

This should confirm if everything is fine on the EVM.You can look at the SNR also..

I tried on 2 EVMs, with the default configuration as mentioned above. The results are as below:

1KHz: SNR-89.5 dB, THD- (-87) dB

5KHz:  SNR-82.3 dB, THD- (-90) dB

10KHz: SNR-76.7 dB

The SNR decreases as we go higher frequency, is it expected that SNR would decrease as we increase frequency with this part.
