TAS6424E-Q1: TAS6424E-Q1 Global Fault Pin & 0X21 issue

Part Number: TAS6424E-Q1

Hi expert,

The customer is wondering if there is a register similar to the Fault Pin, where a certain bit of a register can be used to monitor global faults.

I am not sure if the 7th bit of 0X21 can achieve this monitoring of global faults.

Question 1: Can bit 7 of register 0X21 be used as a replacement for the external fault pin? If not, do you have any other suggestions?

Question 2: If register 0X21 has not been cleared but a DC diagnostic fault is performed after the fault has been removed, will register 0X21 automatically be cleared?

Thanks

Xiaoxiang
