Hi,
I have a design in which I've routed two single-ended audio lines into the INxP channels of the differential inputs on a PCM1821:s.
The reason for this design is that I want to convert the stereo audio from a source (e.g. a mixer, phone, etc.) into I2S data. See picture below.
From previous research in the TI forums, I found sources that this setup should be OK on similar devices. But now, I'm concerned that this design approach is wrong for PCM182x.

If my approach is wong, what is the reason for this?
My intuition tells me that if the differential inputs are based only on a differential amplifier, a single-ended signal on the non-inverting input should yield an identical signal on the output.
Is there something about the PCM1821 circuitry that makes this setup impossible?
