PUREPATHCONSOLE: Any way to run PUREPATHCONSOLE on GNU/Linux?

Part Number: PUREPATHCONSOLE

PUREPATHCONSOLE is only available for Windows and Mac, but I run Debian. I successfully installed it with Wine (9.0) but it won't run.

Looking at the installed files, it appears to be NodeJS with node-webkit. It shouldn't be that hard to port to Linux. Many competitors (e.g. ST, Nordic Semi) have native Linux applications. I think TI should too.

But aside from that, has anyone had any success with running PUREPATHCONSOLE on Linux?

  • Hi Alex,

At the moment PPC3 isn't supported outside of Windows and Mac. I don't know of any plans to make PPC3 Linux compatible, but I can let our software team know that we have a gap in our support.

    Thank you,
    Jeff McPherson

  • If this could be made a priority I would be very grateful. Looking through the files I can't find any native Windows executables other than the ones from NW.js. I downloaded the Linux version of NW.js and tried running it with the source and updater directories, which didn't work. But source/signin actually did work (I was able to sign in but nothing happened after that). I don't think it would be that much work to port. I'd gladly help if given the opportunity.

  • Hi Alex,

Are you able to run a virtual machine of Windows 10 on your Linux system?

    Best regards,
    Jeff McPherson
