Hi,

Will the PCM5142 work DIR9001? My main goal is to receive audio signal from a TV source over optical TOSLINK SPDIF control its volume digitally and output the digital audio signal back to the optical TOSLINK at a selected output. There will be one optical TOSLINK connector receiving the audio and 4 optical TOSLINK connector on the output to route the signals on a selectable output.

    Hi Basit,

     PCM5142 accepts PCM Data Formats of I 2S, Left-Justified, Right-Justified, TDM / DSP  (16-, 20-, 24-, And 32-Bit ) and DIR9001 output format can be  24-Bit I 2S;MSB-First, 24-Bit Left-Justified; MSB-First 16-, 24Bit Right-Justified so it should be no problem.
