We are developing an active speaker system using the TAS5624ADDVEVM. Currently, we face an issue where we do not have the proper tools to configure the TAS5558. When we use the TAS55XX_GUI to generate configuration files and write them into the TAS5558 with other hardware, we find that the configuration files generated by TAS55XX_GUI contain errors and cannot be used.

Using PPC1.16, we can complete the configuration, but we cannot generate the configuration files. It is necessary to use an interface board containing the TAS1020B chip to connect to the computer to generate configuration files and configure the TAS5558. However, we do not know where to purchase an interface board containing the TAS1020B chip. The interface board we made ourselves, which contains the TAS1020B chip, cannot be used because the program is not fixed in the EPROM.

What should we do? We hope your company can provide an improved version of PPC1.16 or PPC3 that allows generating configuration files for the TAS5558 without connecting to the interface board or provide us with an effective method to configure the TAS5558. Thank you!

We have made a TAS5558EVM by ourselves. The current problem is that when playing sound, the TAS1020B on the board only has MCLK output, but no LRCLK, SCLK, or SDOUT output.
