I have a question about the TAD5142.

If I stop only the I2S clock, will pop noise occur?

Or if I input the I2S clock in the middle of transmitting data, will pop noise occur?

    Hi Ishiwata-san,

    If you stop the I2S clocks, there may be a pop, but will not be louder than the input signal level as the pop that you hear is the change in I2S data and not an analog pop. I tested it in the lab and it sounds like a faint click for both the noise floor and a sine input. Let me know if you need more help with this.
