TAS5630 as standalone amplifier (RESET question)

Hello,

I just finished my TAS5630 board and want to put this in a case without a preamplifier (controlled by a µC) in the same case. But then I realized that the !RESET pin has to be controlled from outside.

Is there a chance to build an amplifier only with the TAS5630 without adding a µC for controlling the !RESET pin?

Configuration is BTL (stereo) with SE Inputs.4265.STR_AmpV2.pdf

Hi, Pete,

The d/s says that !RESET should be controlled, but it's not absolutely necessary. I guess you could also put an RC on the input to keep it low until your supplies stabilize.

Hi Don,

thanks for the answer!

I will try it with an RC. My main issue was to reduce the "plop" of the loudspeaker.
