TAS5721 Audio output Power

Hello

I would like to know the TAS5721 Audio output power in 2.1 Mode which is 2xSE + 1 BTL / all 4ohm / THD 10%.

Power Supply 12V

THD 10% SE Mode / 2x4W @ 4 Ohm + BTL Mode / 1x 15W @ 4 Ohm

Actually I reviewed the data sheet of the TAS5721 to check the above cpnfiguration but could not get clear information.

Please let me know whehter the above congiguration can be available for 2.1 application or Not.

Hi, Han,

This is probably beyond the capabilities of the TAS5721. Suggest you look at the TAS5731M instead, which should be releasing very soon.

If I change the configuration as below, Is it possible for operating?

Power Supply 12V

THD 10% SE Mode / 2x4W @ 4 Ohm + BTL Mode / 1x 8W @ 4 Ohm

Jin,

This configuration should work. I would recommend using AD modulation for both SE and BTL channels with 4ohms.

Jin,

The best you can do with 12V supply is shown below. The device is limited by 10% THD+N on both SE and BTL channels.

Power Supply 12V

THD 10% SE Mode / 2x3.5W @ 4 Ohm + BTL Mode / 1x11.5W @ 4 Ohm
