TAS3308 LC EVM: Firmware-Image for TUSB3210

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS3308

Dear TI-Team,

I accidently used the TI AppLoader Driver for the TUSB3210 on the TAS3308LC-EVM. By installing this Driver in Windows, the firmware of the eeprom of the TUSB3210 got erased and flashed with the one which was in the zip-file from the Download on this page: http://www.ti.com/product/tusb3210

As a result, my TAS3308 LC EVM is now getting recognized as Keyboad in the Device Manager due to the wrong firmware on the eeprom for the TAS3210 USB Controller. I am not able to use Purepath studio anymore.

Can you please provide the specific .bin image for the TUSB3210 eeprom on the TAS3308 LC EVM so that I can flash it and make my EVM working again?

Thank you in advance!

  • Hi, Benedikt,

Unfortunately, this product is NRND which means we are no longer providing support on it.

However, I checked our internal system to see if I could find the .bin image, but unfortunately, it was not there.

I escalated this to my colleague who might have the file.

  • Thank you so much, Don! I guess the image must be somewhere, at least the guys who have designed or manufactured the TAS3308-LC EVM should have it.

Do you know a simple way to dump and save the eeprom information via the USB-Connection? I have a second EVM here, but i don't want to desolder the eeprom or attach the required cables to read it out externally.

    Best regard and again thanks,

    Ben
