Hi Team,

One of my customers began working with the PCM5242RHBEVM, but is having issues with signal to noise ratio and distortion at high frequencies. They are able to improve this by applying external low-pass filters, but they are having trouble using the filters built into the part itself.  Can you please provide some guidance? They do not want to use external filters for this application.

    Hi Emily,

    Do you have any information on the tests they ran, sampling rate, input frequency, settings they used of the part, measurements from audio equipment? The PCM5XXX series is designed to have an RC filter on the output. What is their reason for not wanting an output filter, cost or board size?
